WWE SmackDown Live Results, February 6th 2018,live commentary & updates; Randy Orton's next feud finally revealed

Seems like a fair reward for the best friends but is Styles happy with it? Moreover, is it enough to prove what Shane Mcmahon pointed out earlier tonight? Is Bryan really being manipulated to hand out chances to KO & Zayn or is he responsible for favouritism?

Daniel Bryan walks in and he has a mic. Something amazing to come? Oh yeah! Bryan announces that due to the impeccable performance of both Zayn and Owens in the ring, both will face AJ Styles for the title at Fastlane in a triple threat match.

Zayn left Owens in the ring and went to AJ Styles. That truly served the purpose as Styles got fired up and started hitting both Zayn and Owens leading to the end of the match.

He slapped Owens and had him down after delivering explodus suplex.

Owens once again regained momentum and got on top of the rope. This time, he landed right on top of Zayn and warned him to stay down. But Zayn is in no mood to listen.

On teh ringside, Zayn had Owens in shock after delivering a DDT. The two men are now back in the ring.

Zayn is on the top rope, holding Kevin Owens and is trying to lift him. Owens pushed him down and was ready to deliver a senton. But Zayn lifted his legs and had Owens reaching for his back after a painful landing.

As impressed as the rest of us are, Styles is consistently dissing the fact that WWE has prolonged this segment for so long. They seem to get under his skin. Well, they are doing a good job as villains at least.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens consistently bootleg each other until Zayn fell down. Owens is now hitting Zayn with is elbow He Capitalised on the moment and planted a neck breaker on Zayn.

AH! Another argument... the heat has started to develop now. Zayn tossed Owens out of the ring. How long will they be able to resist their urge to fight?

Back in the ring, Zayn and Owens are at their athletic best. But they are not willing to be harsh with each other. Some room for bromance there?

AJ Styles is clearly not holding back his emotions. He just wants the WWE Universe to get done with 'it'. Not so soon, Styles, not so soon...

Meanwhile, WWE confirmed that Dolph Ziggler will be coming back after seven weeks to face Baron Corbin on SmackDown Live.

The main event of the night is finally about to commence. Sami Zayn is in the ring whereas AJ Styles is seated with the commentary team. Interesting!

Sami Zayn surely knows what his best friend is capable of doing when it comes to a fight for teh title. Talk about understanding? Let's see what's in line for these best friends as they take on each other to earn another shot at challenging AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

The New Day unanimously agrees that it will be Kofi Kingston who will rank the highest amongst the three. Kofi Kingston even says he'll become WWE World Champion this year. Could this mean a singles push for Kofi?

In a match between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, who do you think will win? Well, you may seem to care but The New Day clearly don't. What they care about is that who amongst them will rank at the highest position if they fought for individual places in SmackDown Top 10 Superstars?

Shelton Benjamin pins Viktor and walks out of the ring alongside Chad Gable as the winners.

Gabel and Benjamin team up to put down Viktor while Konnor laid waste in his own backyard. *pardon the pun

Right when Gable was engrossed in the elementary level trash talking, Konnor capitalised and tagged in Viktor. Time to lay down the wasteland?

Is it possible that we could be seeing Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania and that the multi-person match is just a way to drag it out?

Oh wait! If the match will also feature Aiden English, could this mean that both Aiden and Rusev will stand in the ring against each other at WrestleMania while chasing the same title? Yeah, I will sign up for that...

We don't know that but the fact that Rusev and Aiden English were also laid down in the ring indicates that there could be a multi-person match for the US Title at Fastlane. Why am I not surprised?

Oh no! he isn't going to stop with Roode. Both Aiden English and Rusev meet the same fate as Roode. Well, what is Randy Orton planning?

RKO outta nowhere! Here's the Viper in the ring who has taken everyone by surprise. Roode wouldn't have expected this.

A GLORIOUS DDT. Roode has his plans clear. There was no coming out od this one. 1...2...3... and Roode is still our US Champion!

Hail that dedication! the two men are constantly delivering their best moves followed by attempts to pin each other.

Despite being portrayed as a clear heel, Rusev is still the crowd-favourite.

The run for the Glorious DDT was interrupted midway. But Roode had backup plans. He had Rusev down with a spine buster but yet another attempt at pinning goes in vain.

Rusev is surprising us at every moment. He once again had Roode underneath him and could have pinned him. Roode kicks out at two and we can almost feel the disappointment.

Roode finally breaks free. He is once again headed to the top. He hit a clothesline from the top rope and almost had Rusev counting stars.

Rusev had Roode in his arm lock. A war of words is also going on between the commentators. Seems like the three men want to decide who the "Dummy" is. Honestly. we can help!

Bobby Roode welcomes Rusev with a blockbuster. He goes for a pin but the Bulgarian is not yet ready to give in.

The two men are constantly trying to show who is the crowd favourite by screaming their own nicknames in the middle of the ring and frankly, it's hilarious.

The two me are at it. Rusev has Roode in a corner. He seems confident about celebrating the Rusev Day tonight.

It's Rusevvvvvvvv Dayyyy!!! Aiden English sent a message to "Bob" Roode warning him that his US title reign is at risk because Rusev is coming for it. You know what they say right? Every day is a Rusev day!
