Orton returns to the ring and hits KO with an RKO, only to get hit with the Cobra Clutch Slam that keps his shoulders down for the three count.

Jinder wins

It looks like nothing can hinder the Jinder on his way to Backlash.

Orton goes after Mahal and takes him out. Corbin then walks into a power slam. Owens is the next one to feel the Viper's wrath, however, the Singh Brothers stop him before he's about to hit the RKO. Randy turns around to walk into a giant boot. Corbin then lands a back breaker on AJ Styles after which Zayn then hits the Blue Thunder Bomb on Jinder.

Styles fights his way out of a choke only to eat a gigantic knee. AJ tries to make the tag bJinder stops him and tags KO instead. A fuming KO drives knees into Styles' back. He goes for the running senton but runs into knees instead. A face crusher gives Styles the space to tag Orton in.

Styles screams in pain after being launched across the ring by Corbin and tags Mahal in.

Styles clears house and smacks Owens off the apron. He then locks in the calf crusher after attempting the Styles Clash that is stopped by Owens. Zayn then dives onto Mahal and Corbin after which Styles is impaled on the ropes by Owens.

Zayn continues to be manhandled as Corbin continues the damage done by his team-mates. Zayn desperately tries to make the tag but Corbin stops him. Zayn is flung onto the apron but jumps back in attempts a sunset flip but choose to low blow him instead. This creates space and gives him a chance to make the tag.

Owens then chokes that hapless Zayn and then crashes down on him.

Corbin squeezes Zayn in the centre of the ring and attempts to throw him out of it. Zayn stays on the apron but is on his back again after a thunderous right. Zayn is busted open as Jinder works on him after being tagged in. The bleeding seems completely unintentional but Sami seems equally unfazed. Not that he really has a choice.

Owens takes control and crotches Zayn on the ropes. He stomps him and then takes him toward his corner. Corbin finally gets his hands on the man he's been hunting down and throws him out. Jinder makes him eat the floor with a clothesline.

We return from the break to see a screaming Baron Corbin over-powering AJ and whipping him into the ring. Styles attempts the Calf crusher which Corbin works out of it. The Lone Wolf then tags Jinder in and Mahal immediately eats a drop kick. Zayn is tagged in and then cornered.

Styles tags Zayn in and Corbin wants nothing to with him and tags Jinder instead. Jinder begins strong and Zayn finally flips Jinder across the ring. The Viper demands to be tagged in but Jinder just tags Owens in. The Face of America then feels the wrath of the Viper and nearly tastes an RKO as well before KO rolls out of the ring.

Jinder Mahal & Kevin Owens & Baron Corbin vs. Styles Zayn & Orton:

Styles begins the match with Corbin and some fast-paced action sees Styles underline his authority with a fantastic drop kick.

Rusev demands a shot at the WWE title at Money in the Bank yet again and adds that he hasn't heard anything from Shane ever since he made his threat the first time. He goes on to say that he will return next week.

Rawley gathers some kids together and tells them about the eighth wonder of the world. He then shows them his Andre the Giant Battle Royal Memorial trophy and asks them if they want to continue the tour. What in the world did we just see?

The Usos come out right after, claim that they're not charging the ring and cut a fantastic promo that makes us wonder why they ever had their face paint gimmick in the first place. 12 days to Uso vs. Breezango at Backlash! After having missed out on 'Mania it looks like the Usos and the division are on the rise!

Konnor tags Victor in, who starts off strong. After a lof strong offence from Victor, Fandago creates enough space to tag his partner in. Breeze hits Konnor off the apron and tags his partner in after taking out Victor too. Fandango takes to the third rope and lands the Last Dance to secure the victory.

Breezango win.

Fandango begins with a headlock and a few chest slaps after the crowd welcomes them throughout their entrance.

Zayn asks Orton and Styles what the strategy for tonight is. Zayn continues to babble about wavelengths and vibrations while the two remain quiet. Sami then closes his eyes to visualise their victory, only to find that he is alone when he's done.

Ziggler insists that they will only fight when he says so and adds that he will humiliate him at Backlash before throwing his jacket on him and ambushing him. Shinsuke is initially caught off guard but counters and then plants his vicious trademark knees that sends Ziggler out of the ring.

It looks like the Artist will take on the Show Off at Backlash!

Nakamura lets chants of his name fill the stadium until Dolph tells him to 'put up or -'. However, he is interrupted by Nakamura who tells him to shut up. Shinsuke takes his jacket off and says he's going to show him what he can do right now.

Ziggler claims he never needed us and then berates us for not caring about him, this guy is really a mixed package, isn't he? He finally calls 'the Artist' out and gives the crowd a chance to burst into song as the Charismatic one dances his way to the ring.

Ziggler begins by calling the crowd hypocrites. How can you not like this guy, right? He goes on to say that no one appreciates him and treats him like a contagious disease. He claims Nakamura has never won a match and then insists that the chants of 'NXT' that followed will be edited out.

A smug Dolph Ziggler marches down the ramp. Looks like the Artist will join him soon.

Rowan continues to take advice from his mask and tries to use it, which distracts the ref, allowing him to eye-gouge his opponent and executes a spinning slam to take the win.

Rowan wins.

That's the first surprising thing that's happened all night, besides the revelation that masks give excellent counsel.

A massive clothesline, a shot from the apron and a giant boot put Harper in control. Rowan tries to fight back by positioning Harper from a slam but Luke counters on time.

Rowan, after taking advice from his mask, lands a huge splash following a bit of back and forth and then digs his knuckles into Harper's head. A slam gives Harper space to breathe as both men are down.

The former Wyatt brothers look set to face each other.

Eric Rowan vs. Luke Harper:

Rowan begins thunderously and flings Harper out of the ring. However, he is hit to the gut after trying to chase him as Harper slides back into the ring.

We are treated to yet another episode 'Fashion Files' with a Sherlock spin this time around. The fashion crime solving duo search a corridor, find the Ascension growling and then back away.
