Just before the show goes off the air, Daniel Bryan warns Shane McMahon that it's the latter's responsibility to get SmackDown Live ready for an attack from Raw.

Zayn also fails to secure the win after an aerial move. After failing to secure the victory with a backslide, Zayn hits a boot. He looks to take to the skies, but Orton intercepts him and connects with a superplex for 2. Once the action spills outside, Orton eats the post followed by Zayn's signature DDT.

The former El Generico looks for the Helluva Kick, but he can't connect. The Viper manages to hit the rope-hung DDT and calls for the RKO. Kevin Owens makes a beeline for the ring to help his friend, allowing Zayn to capitalise on the distraction and secure a roll-up.

However, Orton manages to kick out. When a furious Owens argues with the referee for not making the 3 count, the Viper gets his revenge with a low-blow of his own. RKO finally connects, and that's all she wrote.

When we return from commercial, Zayn has a chinlock in the middle of the ring. He connects with a heel kick for 2 and attempts a snap suplex. Orton drops him on the ropes instead. Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton — winner earns a spot on Team SmackDown Live
Sami Zayn puts Orton in the corner twice and obeys the referee's count with any opposition. He strikes with knife-edged chops in the corner, infuriating the Viper. Orton then hits a barrage of uppercuts. He chases Zayn outside the ring and attempts to Irish whip him into a barricade, but the former El Generico effortlessly uses the barricade to reverse his momentum and connect with a moonsault. Great spot.

Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler's 2 out of 3 falls match will now be for more than just pride. The winner will join Team SmackDown Live.

07:12 (IST)25 OCT 2017

After another cringeworthy Bludgeon Brothers vignette, Dolph Ziggler does an interview with Renee Young. He says that Bobby Roode is nothing more than an entrance and boasts about his victory from last night. Roode interrupts and proposes a 2 out of 3 falls match for next week. Ziggler accepts, and we have a match on our hands, folks.

Michael Cole once again teases a Raw invasion, but lest we forget, Vince McMahon is a carny who doesn't really abide by too many theatrical principles.

07:02 (IST)25 OCT 2017

When the action returns to the ring, Carmella escapes a pin and throws Naomi hard into the ring post, effectively taking the former Funkadactyl outside the match. This leaves Carmella and Lynch as the last women standing. The Irish Superstar kicks out after a superkick and locks in the disarmer to pick up the victory.

While introducing Jinder Mahal, the Singh Brothers take a subtle jab at Paul Heyman — who destroyed Mahal and his cronies on the microphone last week. The Modern Day Maharaja takes to the mic and calls Heyman a liar.

He calls Heyman a used car salesman and claims to be the most powerful man in WWE. He is then infuriated by the audience's chants of Suplex City before he breaks off into his usual mode of ranting.

06:30 (IST)25 OCT 2017

Before we cut to commercial, Michael Cole says that security has been beefed up to handle any kind of retaliation from Raw. Before you get too excited, remember that Vince McMahon wouldn't know about Chekhov's gun even if it hit him in the face.

The Lone Wolf is out to avenge his count-out loss from last week, and he goes after Sin Cara with a vengeance, taunting the luchador mercilessly. However, Sin Cara reverses a clothesline in the corner and launches a furious rally that culminates in a suicide dive.

Sin Cara hits a missile dropkick, but it's only good for 2. This enrages Corbin who attacks Sin Cara with a barrage of elbows, leading to a disqualification. After the match, an irate Baron Corbin hits the End of Days outside the ring.

05:50 (IST)25 OCT 2017

Just when it looks like Shane's just here to play the cheerleader, he's interrupted by Sami Zayn. The Canadian Superstar attempts to make amends with the Commissioner of SmackDown Live, but Shane isn't having it.

Zayn then says that he and Kevin Owens are willing to represent the blue brand as captains at Survivor Series, but the Boy Wonder isn't too receptive to the offer. He makes a match between Zayn and Orton with a place on SmackDown Live's team on the line.

05:44 (IST)25 OCT 2017

Will RAW be out for payback after SmackDown’s raid?

Riding high off his victory at WWE TLC, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle invited SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon to last night’s Monday Night Raw. Angle may not have realized it at the time, but as the battle for brand supremacy at WWE Survivor Series draws near, he was inviting the enemy in through the front door.As Angle was set to disclose the members of Raw’s team for the 5-on-5 Men’s Survivor Series Elimination Match, Shane-O-Mac had a revelation of his own to make: He did not come to Raw alone. And with that, nearly all of SmackDown’s Superstars swarmed the arena, overwhelming Team Red, its roster and its General Manager. While Team Blue will certainly be revelling in getting one up on their rivals, there is no doubt that Raw is seething after Monday’s ransacking. Will Team Red be looking for payback?

Sunil Singh attempts to defend Jinder Mahal’s honour against AJ Styles

WWE Champion Jinder Mahal sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe when he issued a challenge to Raw’s Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, for a Champion vs. Champion showdown at WWE Survivor Series. While The Modern Day Maharaja sought to bask in this monumental moment, AJ Styles had other thoughts, calling out the WWE Champion and eventually clobbering him with a Pele kick.

An embarrassed Mahal demanded payback later in the night, declaring that Sunil Singh will step forward to defend his honour against The Phenomenal One, which led to Daniel Bryan making the match. Will Singh make the WWE Champion proud, or will Styles, just two days removed from a gruelling bout with Finn Bálor at WWE TLC, continue to bolster his case for a WWE Championship opportunity?

Baron Corbin demands a rematch with Sin Cara

Last Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE, United States Champion Baron Corbin was caught off-guard by a feisty Sin Cara. The masked marvel stunned The Lone Wolf with a series of devastating dives outside the ring, leading to Sin Cara picking up a count-out victory.

WWE.com has learned that Corbin has demanded a rematch with Sin Cara on SmackDown LIVE. Will The Lone Wolf prove that the luchador’s victory was a fluke, or will Sin Cara once again embarrass the United States Champion?

Huge Eight-Man Tag Team showdown set for SmackDown LIVE

Bad blood will boil over in an Eight-Man Tag Team battle on SmackDown LIVE when former rivals The New Day & SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos join forces to take on Rusev, Aiden English and Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin.

The rivalry between the champions and their top challengers, Gable & Benjamin, looked to be one based around sportsmanship and respect until the amateur wrestling experts bailed on a handshake with The Usos. The New Day drew the ire of Rusev and English after interrupting The Maestro of Mayhem mid-song last Tuesday, then took a jab at the sacred holiday known as Rusev Day when “The Lion of Bulgaria” showed up.

Will the champions and their rivals-turned-allies reign supreme, or will it be Rusev Day in Milwaukee this Tuesday?

Breezango continue the search for the missing briefcase in “Fashion Dogs”

The Fashion Police are back on the case this week on SmackDown LIVE … and this time, they’ve got backup!

Eager to jump into action, The Ascension declared: “Fashion Files Four, assemble!”

This week, the case continues in “Fashion Dogs.” What twists and turns will Breezango’s investigation take?
