India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets

India finished off the series with the another convincing 10-wicket win over Zimbabwe. The T20 series starts on Saturday, 18th June, and we'll come back for the live coverage of the three match series. Till then, it is a goodbye from Kislaya Srivastava and Aadya Sharma.

Rahul: "I got opportunity with the RCB in the IPL and now with the Indian team, so I feel satisfied. Credit goes to the seamers who have bowled well and given us time to bat. I am really happy with the way I have batted. Not thinking about the West Indies Test series yet".

Chahal: "There was pressure to start with. The wickets were slow so I was varying my deliveries. There was little pressure because the seamers had taken wickets early".

Cremer: "We thought 260-270 was par at this surface but we got stuck in the middle overs which caused a bit of pressure at our batsmen. We have a T20 squad in mind for the T20 series and we can be dangerous on our day. There will be good batting wickets for T20s."

Zimbabwe made as many as five changes to their lineup, but still couldn’t stop a rampaging Indian bowling attack that first kept the batsmen under a tight leash, and then choked them into losing a flurry of wickets in the middle overs, something which they could not recover from. The opening duo of KL Rahul and Faiz Fazal then made short work of the chase, starting watchfully but unleashing their natural scores even as the meagre target diminished quickly.
