Players have reported many bugs regarding the Clash of Clans Town Hall 17 via social media. Here is a complete list of the bugs that Supercell has acknowledged so far:
- The game crashes for some players when they place the new Hero Hall building, and when the Hammer of Buildings is used to upgrade the Town Hall.
- Training Potion not boosting Heroes' recovery time.
- New Giga Bomb is visually showing itself as active, even after being disarmed.
- Town Hall 16 icon appears on the War Map, instead of Town Hall 17 for players who have already maxed out the building.
- Players' Hero Skins preview is causing glitches and inconsistencies when visiting a player's profile.
A few of these glitches have caused players to waste many of their valuable resources, while others just impact the visual aspect of the title.
Supercell has announced that their team is working on fixing these update-related bugs. Therefore, players can expect an emergency patch in a few days that should fix most of these.
Since the bugs are not consistent across devices, simply restarting the game can fix some of them. However, this method may not be helpful to all players, so it is best to wait for an official update.
