Guintoli splits with Liberty Racing

World Superbike rider Sylvain Guintoli will not run at the Brno circuit this weekend as he has split up with his Liberty Racing Team. This happened the night before the World Superbike weekend in the Czech Republic. According to the team, it was due to a misunderstanding between the mechanics and the team management.

Several mechanics decided not to take part in the Czech race or in the rest of the Championship. A statement from the team read: “This defection sadly involves the French rider Sylvain Guintoli who, without technical support, will not take part in the race that is held in Brno this weekend.” The rider hopes to be able to run in the next round at the Silverstone circuit.
