The 2019 NASCAR season officially kicks off at the legendary Daytona International Speedway. The start of the Speedweeks is here and the excitement is palpable already.

And could there be anything more exciting than having the 2019 NASCAR at a speedway as thrilling at Daytona, first opened in 1959, a stamp of unforgettable history in the sport?

Implicit in this year's event is a contest known as 'The Clash'. Better known as 'The Advance Auto Parts Clash', an annual 75- lap long exhibition event all set to be held on February 17, 2019, a Sunday; a date racing enthusiasts and fans may not want to miss out on.

That said, the 75-lap NASCAR event to be held at Daytona will actually tantamount to 187.5 miles. This is rather interesting to note since the iconic track at Florida, USA is actually a 2.5-mile tri-oval track.
