NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. is regarded as one of the best drivers of his era. However, apart from being an exceptional racer on the track, he is also a capable businessman off it.

After retiring as a full-time driver in 2018, Earnhardt Jr. began focusing on JR Motorsports, which he co-owns with his sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller. Besides the NASCAR team, the 49-year-old also runs several podcasts under the print media company Dirty Mo Media.

#1. JR Motorsports

Established as a racing team in 2002, JR Motorsports is co-owned by Dale Jr., Kelly Earnhardt, Rick Hendrick, and L.W. Miller. The North Carolina-based outfit currently runs five Xfinity Series teams under its wings: four full-time (#1, #7, #8, and #9) and one part-time (#88) Chevrolet Camaro.

As of now, the 22-year-old establishment has won three driver's championships in the Xfinity Series (Chase Elliott in 2014, William Byron in 2017, and Tyler Reddick in 2018).


#2. Two Face Racing

Apart from running a racing team, Earnhardt Jr. also runs an auto shop called Two Face Racing. The garage offers services such as performance tuning and engine rebuilds to prepare race cars for competition. The shop caters to the needs of upcoming racers as well as wealthy car collectors.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. also owns Hammerhead Entertainment, a production company that focuses on creating content based on motorsports. The media company is responsible for curating several documentaries and TV shows, such as "Dale Jr.: Inside the Ride.”

Whiskey River, one of Earnhardt Jr.'s off-track ventures, is a chain of bars and nightclubs known for offering good food and entertainment to its guests. With motorsport entering the virtual world, iRacing has become one of the most popular online Simulator Racing platforms around the globe. Before entering stock car racing, the NASCAR Cup Series driver William Byron honed his skills in iRacing, winning over 100 races in the virtual world. Recognizing the potential of sim racing to cultivate new talent, like William Byron, Dale Earnhardt Jr. took on the role of Executive Director at iRacing in 2020.
