NASCAR 2025 Cup Series schedule: Full weekend schedule for Viva Mexico 250 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez

The inaugural Viva Mexico 250 is scheduled for Sunday, June 15, at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The season’s 16th race and second seeding race for the inaugural NASCAR In-Season Challenge will be broadcast on Prime Video and MRN at 3 p.m. ET.

Held in Mexico City, Mexico, it will be the 16th points-paying race of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. It will see the Next Gen car in action for the first time at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez as the NASCAR Cup Series heads internationally for the first time in 25 years. The 100-lap race is divided into three stages. Stage 1 ends on lap 20, Stage 2 consists of 45 laps, and the final stage consists of 100 laps.

The 2.429-mile-long Autódromo road course track has been hosting motorsports events since 1962 and is currently host to the popular Mexico City Grand Prix in Formula 1.

It will be the inaugural Viva Mexico 250, hosted by Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The 37 drivers entering this week’s Cup Series road course race will compete across 100 laps in 241.7 miles.

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series' Mexico City weekend will begin with two practice sessions on Friday, June 13, followed by Saturday’s qualifying at 12 p.m. ET to determine the starting lineup for the main event on Sunday.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin is the recent winner who won last week’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. The win was Hamlin’s third of the season. He has been riding on the momentum and will look to secure victory in the inaugural Mexico race.
