Bubba Wallace's crew chief Bootie Barker left a hilarious remark after the #23 Toyota was stranded because of the major crash at Talladega. Reacting to Barker's statement, Wallace sarcastically wrote that the personnel on the team is a "sharp bunch".The 'Big One' at Talladega seemingly took the entire field as 28 cars crashed out in the final stages. The red flag was brought down and the race was stopped, and a little change in the NASCAR rules saw some cars get the right opportunity to drive to the pits and get repaired.Amidst this, Barker suggested a pit strategy to Bubba Wallace, and in turn, he told his spotter Freddie Kraft that they would hear the same message from Barker within the next 30 minutes. He then remarked that if they (Wallace and Kraft) were "sharp enough" he wouldn't have to keep reminding them."Yeah, Bubba, just talking and everything we can tell, probably your left rear is bent some. It's not like it's bending a foot. We're hoping to come in at four tires and fuel as quick as we can and we'll assess what's what before we go green," suggested Barker."Freddy. Over under is two. We'll hear that exact same message from Bootie in the next 30 minutes," Wallace told Kraft."Well, Captain d***heads, if y'all was sharp enough where I didn't have to do it every time I wouldn't. Get you some of that," remarked Barker.Reacting to this hilarious exchange between the crew, Wallace labeled them a "sharp bunch" on social media."We got a sharp bunch over here on the 23 team 🤣💀"Bubba Wallace shares his experience with his baby boyBubba and Amanda Wallace welcomed their baby boy Becks Hayden into the world last week. This is the couple's first child, and the experience has been quite majestic for the family so far. Speaking to the media, during the qualifying session at Talladega, Wallace talked about his experience with Becks, mentioning that he has been focused on him."I've been focused on the baby boy. What a blessing he has been to our family. Becks is doing really good. He sleeps a lot, which is great. So, people talk about lack of sleep. I hope my wife isn't watching him, I feel good, I hope she feels good.""But yeah, everything's been going really good and this first week, I'm enjoying it. I've had a smile on my face. We've been learning what not to do. I feel like I'm a master at changing diapers. I've never changed a diaper before until my own. So I figured that out. But I thought I'm going to get humbled here in the next couple weeks. He's got some tricks up his sleeves already. But all in all, it's just been a really good week."
