Brad Keselowski, father of three, shared his appreciation for his father Bob in a recent social media tribute. After his Father’s Day post on Sunday, June 15, Brad's brother Brian Keselowski also chimed in and mentioned their special family visit.
The Keselowskis’ motorsport legacy stretches back generations. Their father raced in the NASCAR ARCA and Truck Series. He clinched the 1989 championship and earned a Truck win at Richmond in 1997. Bob later founded K‑Automotive Racing and fielded cars for his sons.
Brad, who currently has two daughters and one son with his wife, Paige White, is expecting a fourth child this year. He wished his followers for Father's Day on X, writing:
"Becoming a dad made me appreciate mine even more. Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there."
Brad's older brother Brian replied and wrote:
"We made sure to make a trip last week to go see dad, Goober, Gram, and cousin Jeff. Even got to see uncle Ron and looked at all his new projects. Then later on got to see most of the family at my nephew’s place. Nothing like family."
Brad's uncle Ron Keselowski also raced in the early 1970s in the Cup series and later helped run the family team. Meanwhile, Brian began as a jackman for the family team before launching his own driving career and team, Brian Keselowski Motorsports.
Brian also transitioned into crew chief roles in Truck, Xfinity, and late-model racing. He even spotted for Brad in the NASCAR Cup Series during a couple of races this season.
Meanwhile, the RFK Racing driver and co-owner is hoping to turn strong finishes into wins in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race (June 15) in Mexico, which is the first Cup points race outside the US in over 65 years.
"Want to get all three of our cars in the playoffs" - Brad Keselowski clears goal for 2025 Cup season
Brad Keselowski's teammate, Ryan Preece qualified in second place at the upcoming Cup race at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. Chris Buescher qualified in 16th and Keselowski 30th.
Last week at Michigan, all three RFK cars finished in the top 10, Buescher in 2nd, Preece 9th and Keselowski 10th. Ahead of the Mexico race, Keselowski talked about playoffs for the 2025 season.
"We want to get all three of our cars in the playoffs. It appears that it’s going to take wins for all three cars to do that, maybe we’ll get one car in on points. We’ve had a couple of really strong races but haven’t broke through to Victory Lane and I’m disappointed by that," Brad Keselowski said (via NBC Sports).
Only ten regular season races are left for the team to lock in playoff spots. While Preece and Buescher are just above the cutoff line, Brad Keselowski stands way behind in the 32nd spot with two top-10 finishes so far.
