RFK Racing driver Brad Keselowski is eyeing a milestone win at Talladega Superspeedway this Sunday.

The #6 Ford driver is on the verge of creating a couple of records for self and the NASCAR Cup series at Talladega. Brad is yet to win a race since his move from Team Penske to RFK Racing. The last win he bagged was at GEICO 500, Talladega in 2021.

By winning this race at the oval track, he'll be eliminating his winless streak of 107 races and of Ford's 2024 season. And not only that, he'll be coming second to the NASCAR legend, Dale Earnhardt's record.

In a recent episode of the podcast, PRN's The O'Reilly Auto Parts Pit Reporters, Bret McMillan, PRN host, and Zach Sturniolo of NASCAR were in a conversation with Adam Alexander of FOX, where they discussed the winning drought of drivers in this season.

On the podcast, Alexander said:

"If Brad were to win, that'd be seven wins at Talladega. That would be second only to Dale Earnhardt. He's tied for second right now with Gordon and dale jr. But that would be a milestone victory, not just snapping the 107 race winless streak"

Alexander then added:

"But he also would put himself in pretty elite category right behind the greatest all time in the draft and that being Dale Earnhardt, that'd be pretty nice. And he finally went for his own organization.
"That's right. Yeah, milestone went in so many ways."

Ending the drought by making a milestone. This could be quite a headline for the RFK Racing co-owner and driver Brad Keselowski in getting such an elite status, provided he gets a win at the Talladega.

How close is Brad Keselowski to Dale Earnhardt's Talladega win?

The NASCAR Cup Series legend Dale Earnhardt has 76 wins in his career. Most of them (10) come from Talladega Superspeedway, Alabama.

The #3 Driver of RCR has a notable record in Talladega which is yet to be broken. Currently, the second spot is held by three NASCAR drivers with six wins in their name. Brad, who's tied Dale Earnhardt Jr and Jeff Gordon, on securing a win in the upcoming race on Sunday can get past them and take the second spot alone on the elite status with Dale Sr. ahead of him.

The co-owner of RFK Racing's breakthrough win started in 2009 at Talladega. The other victories came in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2021 respectively.
