23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace had an excellent outing in the NASCAR All-Star Race, as he took home a second-place finish. However, the post-race comments by unidentified individuals on the radio have made the headlines instead.

Bubba Wallace continued his strong form at North Wilkesboro Speedway finishing second behind $1 million winner Kyle Larson. After the race ended, someone hijacked Wallace's radio channel to make racist comments.

The radio transcript from the #23 driver read:

"Go back to where you came from you a******. You’re not wanted in NASCAR."

A spokesperson from 23XI Racing stated that Wallace did not hear or acknowledge the ill-intended comments at the time. NASCAR officials have confirmed their security operation is investigating the incident to determine who infiltrated the radio systems and how they managed to do so.

Bubba Wallace is the only full-time Black driver in NASCAR's Cup Series and is a two-time winner in the highest echelon of stock car racing. Before the unfortunate event on Sunday (May 21), the #23 Toyota driver was booed by the fans at the North Wilkesboro Speedway after the NASCAR Truck Series race on Saturday.

Bubba Wallace finished fifth in the Truck race and was booed by the fans in the stands as he got out of his #1 Truck. The 29-year-old is bothered by the incident as he has dealt with it multiple times before.

In the post-race interview, Wallace explained how he deals with the trolls and haters as he said:

"It's every week. It's sports, it's always going to be there. You're really close to the stage, it does make a difference, it's gonna be there every weekend."
"As long as you continue to live your life judging a book by it's cover, that's who you are. Don't change it up for anybody else. That's the biggest thing. I finished 5th, I got a good payday, I'm good."

The Mobile, Alabama native is not bothered by the off-track nuisance as he remains focused on the results.

Kyle Larson and his #5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet left his competitors in the dust in the NASCAR All-Star Race. Larson blazed through the field to win the race taking home $1 million.

Bubba Wallace and his teammate Tyler Reddick who ran second and third had no answer to Larson's pace. Wallace heaped praise on Kyle Larson as he said after the race:

"Tail tucked between our legs, but all-in-all, just continue to ride the momentum train. We came up one spot short. Congrats to Larson. He’s been on a rail lately."

The #23 driver is keen to build on the momentum for next weekend's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He said:

"Now we show up to our home turf. We have to keep the momentum rolling there and get ourselves deeper into the playoffs. I’m excited to be where we are at right now."
