Amanda Wallace, the wife of NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace, recently shared a nostalgic Instagram story featuring a three-year-old throwback photo of her husband’s pit crew. The photo was originally posted by Dwayne Ogles, a former tire changer on Bubba's #23 team.
Amanda and Bubba Wallace welcomed their firstborn son, Becks Hayden, on September 29, 2024. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a few pictures of Becks. Amid the celebration, Amanda re-shared a photo of Bubba’s 2021 pit crew celebrating their victory in the YellaWood 500 race at Talladega Superspeedway.
Courtesy of the win, Wallace became the second African-American to win a NASCAR Cup Series race. The Dega victory in 2021 has been the highlight of the 30-year-old's time with 23XI Racing. His first-ever win in the Cup Series, at one of NASCAR's most notorious tracks, was commended by his childhood friend and current Cup Series Champion Ryan Blaney.
As a nostalgic tribute to the Alabama-based driver and his former teammates, Ogles shared the aforementioned photo on his Instagram story, tagging everyone involved, including Amanda, who eventually reshared it. Here's a look at her story.

"3 year throwback, what a fun team!" Ogles wrote.
Amanda and Bubba Wallace also recently shared a joint Instagram post introducing their newborn son, Becks. Here's what the caption read:
Amanda and I would like to introduce you to Becks Hayden! We were blessed with his presence Sunday 9/29☺️ 9 months of waiting on this little guy, he’s made it all worth it! So excited for this journey!
"Job’s not finished," - Bubba Wallace ecstatic after claiming the pole for the regular season finale at Darlington Raceway
With no wins in the 25 races of the 2024 Cup Series regular season, Bubba Wallace was eager to make a statement at Darlington Raceway. The 23XI Racing driver secured the pole position for the Cook Out Southern 500 race.
With a genuine opportunity to grab the Playoff berth in hand, an ecstatic Wallace shared a couple of pictures on his Instagram page with the pole award.
"Job’s not finished… but damn this one feels good. Pole sitters at the Southern 500 👊🏾," He wrote in the caption.
While Wallace was able to maximize the results in Stage 1 and 2, finishing 2nd and 9th, respectively, the #23 driver lost several positions in Stage 3 by getting involved in a multi-car wreck on lap 344. Despite starting in P1 for the regular season finale, the 31-year-old Alabama-based racer eventually ended 16th at Darlington, thereby missing out on a playoff berth.
As of now, Wallace is currently 19th in the driver's table with one pole position, 11 Top 10s, and six Top 5 finishes. Highlights of his 2024 season include second-place finishes at North Wilkesboro and Bristol, as well as fourth-place finishes at Martinsville and Richmond.
