NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. responded sarcastically to the fight between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch after Sunday night’s All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Joey Logano’s dominating victory will define the 2024 All-Star Race, but it's likely that the race will be most remembered for what happened between Stenhouse Jr. and Busch in the garage following the race. The confrontation occurred after an early race battle between Busch and Stenhouse, which led to a heated exchange and physical fight between the two.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is known for his candid and humorous commentary, made a lighthearted comment about the incident on social media.

“Cement up all the tunnels at these tracks,” Earnhardt Jr. tweeted.

The reason behind Earnhardt Jr.’s tweet is that North Wilkesboro Speedway doesn't have an infield access tunnel, so drivers who don’t finish a race have to wait until the race is over.

On the opening lap of the race, Busch’s #8 RCR car made contact with the wall after getting pushed to the outside wall by Stenhouse Jr. Busch thought Stenhouse had run him into the wall.

In retaliation, he knocked Stenhouse into the outside wall on Lap 2. The incident brought an early end to Stenhouse Jr.’s All-Star outing, and he had to wait out the remainder of the race.

The incident led to Stenhouse Jr. and Busch engaging in a heated confrontation before Stenhouse punched Busch and a brawl erupted, which also collected members from both teams.

“Maybe one day it’ll get that points race” – Dale Earnhardt Jr. on All-Star Race

The two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion expressed his thoughts on NASCAR’s annual exhibition event, the All-Star Race. He feels that the race brings entertainment and excitement but hopes that the North Wilkesboro track will host a points-paying race one day.

“Fun race to watch. Had its moments. Definitely wanted more of a battle up front. BUT! This @NWBSpeedway track is awesome with the repave. Need a full field of cars on it to stifle the leader with lap traffic. Maybe one day it’ll get that points race,” Dale Earnhardt Jr. wrote on X.
