Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s wife, Amy, recently took to her Instagram stories to reveal the newest addition to their 300-acre property in Mooresville, North Carolina. The item was a beautiful Christmas tree, freshly acquired from Josh Farmers Market, located at 630 Brawley School Road.

As the month of festivities inches closer and closer, the Earnhardts seem to be neck-deep in preparations. Amy clicked a photo of her two daughters, Isla Rose and Nicole Lorraine, with the tree as the backdrop, and uploaded it, saying,

Amy Earnhardt has been married to Dale Earnhardt Jr. since December 2016. The couple first met in 2009 when the then-Hendrick Motorsports driver hired Amy’s firm to design the interiors for his home in Kannapolis. They instantly hit it off but kept their relationship secret for a few years.

Today, Amy is one of the most well-known women in NASCAR, and the driving force behind everything that happens in the Earnhardt household. She is also the co-owner of High Rock Vodka, a premium, handcrafted vodka brand in collaboration with Sugarlands Distilling Company.

Amy Earnhardt reveals how Dale Earnhardt Jr. cheats his tailor

Amy Earnhardt appeared in a recent episode of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s podcast and revealed how the 50-year-old NASCAR veteran needs help to dress up half of the time. That half of the time includes Dale Jr. “stomping” his feet, annoyed by the fact that he had outgrown his clothes.

Amy jokingly remarked that her husband has been making good food choices lately, actually hinting that it’s not the case. Dale Jr. has been putting on weight, and none of his clothes, which are just a year old, fit him anymore.

“Man, you know, your body changes so much over the course of a year right?” Dale Earnhardt Jr. said in his defense. “And when you go buy the tux and you're getting something tailored, they tailor it to fit you. You go a year and you try to put that tux back on and it's like not fitting today. Emotionally, you're like sh**!"

Luckily, the semi-retired racer was able to find the perfect solution to the problem. He blows his belly up as big as he can so that his tailor makes his clothes just a tad bigger.

“While the guy's measuring it I'm trying to make my belly as big as I can... I was trying to cheat it a little bit so that the guy would tailor it a little large,” Earnhardt Jr. laughed.

To co-hosts Dalton Greco and Andrew Kurland, it seemed like they get to know the real Dale Earnhardt Jr. only when Amy comes into the Bojangles Studio. For someone of Dale Jr.‘s stature, it’s funny how he’s just as helpless without his wife as any other man on the planet.
