Frankie Muniz shared a heartwarming post on Instagram, where he revealed that his son asked him a question after every race, and Muniz hoped that this time the answer to that question would change. The New Jersey native is set to make his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend driving the Ford Mustang.
Frankie Muniz is married to Paige Price (a former model and TV presenter). The couple met in 2016 at a golf event and began dating soon after. They got engaged in November 2018 and eloped in October 2019 and had a small and private wedding. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Mauz Mosley Muniz, in 2021.
Frankie Muniz shared on Instagram:
"Every time I come home from a race, my son goes..."Daddy, did you win!?" And I always say, "No buddy, daddy didn't win this time. Hopefully that changes today in Le Mans. Starting 2nd in my class for race 1 this morning. Let's flip the script!"
Frankie Muniz, best known for his acting career, has steadily built a second act as a professional race car driver. His motorsports journey began in earnest in 2006 when he left Hollywood to pursue racing. He initially competed in the Formula BMV USA Championship before moving to the Champ Car Atlantic Series. After finishing as high as ninth in a race, he took a hiatus due to a wrist injury.
In 2022, Muniz tested in the ARCA Menards Series at Daytona and the next year ran full-time in ARCA driving for Rette Jones Racing. He exceeded expectations and finished fourth in the championship standings with 11 top-ten finishes and a best result of fifth at Michigan. He made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut in 2024 with Reaume Brothers Racing and attempted races in the Xfinity Series. He competes full-time in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driving the #33.
Frankie Muniz aims at “silencing the doubters” despite ‘big mistake’ at Michigan
Frankie Muniz addressed critics following a 14th-place finish at Michigan International Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The race saw he in a promising position after a late multi-car wreck eliminated several frontrunners, allowing him to restart in the top five.
However, a mistake approaching the green flag caused Muniz and others in the bottom lane to lose ground, dropping him from third to 14th by the finish. Despite his disappointment, he emphasized that he learned from the error and remained determined to improve and "silence the doubters," as he continued his rookie season.
“I’ll own up to a big mistake when I was running in 3rd place with two laps to go. It stung, but I’ve learned from it, and I’m coming back stronger. As a driver, you’re never satisfied until you’re in victory lane, but this felt like a win. Huge thanks to @rbr_teams (Reaume Brothers Racing) for their relentless hard work every week. Let’s keep silencing the doubters!”
Muniz described finishing in the top 15 at the season's halfway point as a much-needed confidence boost, especially after enduring a series of disappointing results earlier in the season.
