NASCAR driver Kyle Busch's wife Samantha Busch recently shared a heartfelt post on her social media, expressing how she "keeps it real" and posts content featuring all the highs and lows from her life.
Despite a challenging season that saw him miss out on qualification for the playoffs, Richard Childress Racing’s #8 driver Kyle Busch remains one of NASCAR's most celebrated figures. With 231 career victories, including 63 Cup Series wins that place him ninth on the all-time list, Busch's accomplishments speak volumes. Beyond his Cup success, he has an Xfinity Series championship and holds the all-time win records in both the Truck and Xfinity series.
Busch secured two consecutive P2 finishes in the final two regular-season races. But unfortunately, he couldn't make the cut for the playoffs. Recently, his wife Samantha shared an emotional message on her Instagram. She posted a reel captioned:
"You know me, I keep it real on here—from mom life, to racing, and even the tough battles like infertility. I’m here for all of it, and I’m taking you along for the ride. 🩷💪"
Samantha and Kyle Busch have been married for nearly 14 years, after dating for two years before their wedding on December 31, 2010, at Chicago's Holy Name Cathedral. Five years later, they welcomed their son, Brexton Locke. In 2022, the couple celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Lennix Key Busch.
This is the first time in over a decade that the two-time champion has not made it to the playoffs. However, Busch will be looking to maintain his form and secure at least one win in the remaining 10 races.
“He raises the bar”: Kyle Busch hails Michael Jordan for being a “phenomenal” resource to 23XI Racing
23XI Racing, co-owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan and JGR driver Denny Hamlin, has enjoyed a successful 2024 season. The team competes with two entries in the Cup Series: Bubba Wallace behind the wheel of the #23 Toyota and Tyler Reddick driving the #45.
Reddick is having the best season of his NASCAR career, securing the regular-season championship and positioning himself as a strong contender for his first Cup Series title. This remarkable achievement highlights the rapid rise of the relatively young team in the sport.
In a recent post by NASCAR on X (formerly Twitter), Kyle Busch shared his thoughts on 23XI and Reddick's success. He said:
"Those guys (23XI) have such a resource at their fingertips, of being able to talk to that guy, ask him questions, 'How did you handle X moment or what did you do or what was your thought process.' All of those things to get inside the mind of the greatest of all time. And to have that resource is just phenomenal."
"I think he (Michael Jordan) raises the bar for anyone that works there at 23XI because they know who that guy is, they know what his accomplishments have been," the two-time Cup Series champion added.
