In a career span of 11 years, Jeb has secured two trips to victory lane, and 40 top-ten finishes in the Xfinity Series. Moreover, the #27 driver also pilots the #50 Chevrolet for Team AmeriVet part-time in the Cup Series.

In a recent episode of the Crossroads with the Burtons podcast, Jeb Burton and his father had a conversation about the latter's recent trip to a bar in Phoenix, with the former's friend. The #27 driver said:

"So dad had a wild idea on Friday night to go out with one of my buddies Jake Allen and we had another one of our partners with Rapid Radios at the track and you didn't feel so good on Saturday did you?"
"I did not. It's gonna be a long time before I let some of those younger bucks influence me because I'm just not as tough as I used to be and I'm definitely out of practice. I felt a hell of a lot better Sunday than I did Saturday," Ward Burton responded to the question.

In a September interview with Frontstretch, the former WBR was asked about his move to AM Racing and whether he had spoken to former Xfinity champion Cole Custer about his experience.

"I definitely would love to go down there and win races. I haven't gotten to talk to Cole much about his experience. I do know Cole well and like Cole, but, you know, just haven't had a chance really," Burton said. [01:32 onwards]

"The goal in my career is to get back to Cup and try and win races in Cup. And, you know, I was really fortunate to win one this year. So try and go down to the Xfinity Series, win more races and earn my way back and see how it goes," he added.

Harrison Burton secured his spot in the 2024 playoffs in a controversial finish in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Despite the controversy, Jeb Burton's nephew created history by securing his spot in the list of father-son duos to emerge victorious in the Cup Series. However, he could not make it past the Round of 16 in the playoffs.

In 2025, both Jeb Burton and his cousin will compete against each other for the Xfininty Series title.
