2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson is pulling another double duty this weekend. On Sunday, Larson will compete in the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway, but before that, he will lock horns against sprint car drivers at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday. The Hendrick Motorsports star will battle for his third Knoxville Nationals title in the #57 Silva Motorsports.The 63rd running of the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's at Knoxville Raceway saw record numbers in attendance, thanks to Larson’s recent dominance in sprint car racing. We had a good run at Richmond earlier this year and want to continue that this weekend.”Larson, the Cup Series points table leader, is in a strong position with four wins and wants to make use of the remaining races before the postseason.“We've got four races left in the regular season, and we want to make the most of them prior to the playoff stretch,” Larson added.
