Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch took his family on a vacation to Italy amid the ongoing Olympics break. After spending nearly a week on a dream Italian vacation, the family is back home, as posted by Samantha Busch on her Instagram page.Kyle Busch has had a rough 2024 season in the Cup Series so far. With just four races remaining in the regular season, the Richard Childress Racing driver is most likely to miss the Playoffs this year (no race wins and 112 points below the cutoff). To take his mind off a disappointing season, Busch decided to spend some quality time with his family during the mid-season break. The couple, along with their children Brexton and Lennix, and Samantha's parents spent around a week in Italy. Along with some iconic locations like the Colosseum, they also visited the city of Caivano (where Samantha's dad grew up). Wrapping up their holiday, the family has finally returned to the US.However, their return journey took an unexpected turn when the connecting flight to Charlotte, North Carolina got canceled. To tackle the situation, Samantha and her dad decided to take a 10-hour road trip home from the airport with her daughter and mother (Kyle and Brexton are headed to Indiana). Here's a look at Samantha's stories on Instagram:Samantha Busch updating about their connecting flight getting canceled (source: @samanthabusch on Instagram)Samantha Busch updating about Kyle and Brexton's plans (source: @samanthabusch on Instagram)Samantha Busch on an unexpected road trip with her parents and daughter Lennix (source: @samanthabusch on Instagram)Samantha and her dad after splitting the 10-hour-long drive to Charlotte, North Carolina (source: @samanthabusch on Instagram)"They grew up poor," Kyle Busch's wife shares an emotional story of her father's childhood during their dream Italian vacationAmidst their dream Italian vacation, Kyle Busch's wife Samantha shared the emotional story of her father's childhood via a post on Instagram. He explained how they grew up poor, how they worked their whole lives starting so young to help the family pay for food and other necessities. I heard the stories but couldn’t quite imagine it. Yesterday I had the chance to go to Caivano and see his childhood house along with my Nonno’s." View this post on Instagram Instagram Post
