Rumors regarding Kyle Busch's potential exit from Richard Childress Racing have been frequenting NASCAR's headlines for quite some time now. Busch's crew chief Randall Burnett had recently opened up to SiriusXM NASCAR radio on the matter.According to an earlier statement made by veteran journalist Lee Spencer, Busch signed a multi-year contract with the Chevy team that will keep him behind the wheel of the number 8 Camaro till 2025."He (Kyle Busch) signed a deal that was two years... and I verified that with the front office at [Richard Childress Racing]," said Spencer, via MOTORSPORTS WIRE.Brunett's words, as reported by SiriusXM host Danielle Trotta, reaffirmed the update dropped by Spencer. Trotta took to X and wrote,"Randall Burnett cc for Kyle Busch tells us he feels Kyle is very committed to the process and building 8 team up now and into the future. Randall is confident Kyle will be a part of RCR for next few years."Earlier, some said Kyle Busch could return to Joe Gibbs Racing while others speculated that the two-time Cup champion could join Hendrick Motorsports. Busch started his Cup career as a Hendrick Motorsports driver before joining Joe Gibbs Racing in 2008. He is currently in his 18th full season in the Cup arena and also his second with RCR."I would say anything is possible, always," Busch himself said in a statement regarding the rumor about him returning to his former teams. "Certainly, if I was welcomed, I would go back. If Hendrick welcomed me back, I'd go back."Nevertheless, Randall Burnett's comments confirm that even if Busch decides to exit the RCR garage in the future, it is not going to be soon. As of now, Busch looks forward to regaining his winning momentum back with the #8 team.Veteran journalist shuns Kyle Busch's Joe Gibbs Racing "Wild a**" rumorIn an episode of 'The Teardown' from last month, renowned journalist Jordan Bianchi explained why Kyle Busch might not return to Joe Gibbs Racing ever. According to reports, Busch left JGR due to the lack of sponsorship for the #18 car that he drove."The circumstances being what they are like what’s changed since he left there? They didn’t have sponsorship for him there, right. They don’t have sponsorship for him now,” Bianchi observed."It’s this wild-ass rumor that’s all that. I’m going to call it a rumor right now because I have not heard anything substantial," Bianchi added, addressing the rumor.Kyle Busch was left without any company to fund his ride at Joe Gibbs Racing after Mars Inc. and M&M’s departed from NASCAR in 2022. Although there were talks regarding a deal with Oracle, also known for sponsoring the Red Bull F1 team, Busch revealed why investing in Joe Gibbs Racing was not the next best thing for the database management company."Did JGR try hard enough to sell me? My answer to that is no," Busch told Bianchi in January. "So I’m like, ‘There’s no way they’re (Oracle) going to do a NASCAR deal. Not a chance."Meanwhile, the action will resume at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on June 23, 2:30 p.m. ET. Kyle Busch will enter the race 16th in the Cup Series point standings with 383 points to his name.
