Kelley Earnhardt Miller, co-owner and CEO of the 2024 Xfinity Championship-winning JR Motorsports, shared a picture of a potluck from JRM's office on social media. The $50 million-worth (as per Celebrity Net Worth) sister of NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. also wrote a heartfelt message on the aforementioned picture, reflecting on the team's annual Thanksgiving celebration.
Although Kelley began her career as a stock car driver, she opted for the management aspect of the sport once Dale Jr. debuted in NASCAR. The duo, along with Rick Hendrick and L.W. Miller began JR Motorsports in 2002. Apart from being a top boss for JRM, Kelley is also the CEO of DEJ Management and Dirty Mo Media, making her one of the most important persons in Dale Jr.'s professional career.
As a Thanksgiving ritual, JR Motorsports conducts a potluck annually to likely celebrate another year of good racing with the entire team. Being the CEO, Kelley shared a picture of herself with a plateful of a wide variety of cuisines brought by every team member on Instagram.
Here's a look at the snapshot of the story on Instagram, captioned with a heartfelt message:
"We had our annual Thanksgiving potluck at @jrmotorsports! We have some good cooks. Food was great. Love out traditions year after year."
"We just didn't have the right family unit, I'd say" - When Kelley Earnhardt Miller reflected on a difficult childhood
Despite being the children of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr., both Kelley Earnhardt Miller and Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a difficult childhood. The CEO and co-owner of JR Motorsports reflected on the challenges from her early life during a Dale Jr. Download podcast in 2019.
As children of Dale Sr. and Brenda Gee Jackson, Dale Jr. and Kelley were never comfortable living with Teresa (Earnhardt Sr.'s third wife). Kelley, who started as a stock car racer before becoming a management executive for JR Motorsports, expressed her feelings on the podcast.
"I'm sure we had our feelings then of how we felt, you know, unloved or not just didn't have the right family unit I would say knowing what family should be like, you know, now. And but I don't think it bothered us as much then because we had such a good relationship," Kelley said. (5:51 onwards)
And keep in mind now we were going to our moms and having a heck of a time in Virginia when we would go there (twice) a year. That was awesome. And spend weekends with her when she would come down. So we had, I mean we had a good life, you know, we had roof over our heads and all that kind of thing," she added.

As of now, the $50 million-worth team boss is currently one of the most successful women in NASCAR.
