NASCAR 2024 Xfinity Series: Driver standings after the Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway

Nine races have taken place in the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Richard Childress Racing driver Jesse Love became the seventh different winner of the season after winning the Ag-Pro 300 at the Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, Apr. 20.

In a thrilling double overtime race, Love saved enough fuel and held off Riley Herbst by 0.141 seconds to take the checkered flag at the Talladega Superspeedway.

After securing the win at Talladega, Love was awarded 59 points and moved from fifth to fourth place in the Xfinity Series points standings with 316 points.

With a P25 finish, Chandler Smith gained 24 points and maintained the top spot in the Xfinity points standings. He has a 14-point lead over Cole Custer with 357 points and two wins.

Riley Herbst, who secured the runner-up finish in the Ag-Pro 300, gained 40 points and moved to sixth place in the standings with 272 points.

Austin Hill, who started on pole, failed to utilize the advantage and finished 14th. He gained 41 points and is third on the points table with 341 points.

With a P10 finish, the defending champion of the Xfinity Series, Cole Custer, gained 29 points and moved to second place with 343 points.
