NASCAR 2024 Xfinity Series: Qualifying order for Pennzoil 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host NASCAR’s Pennzoil 250 this weekend. The 20th race of the 2024 Xfinity Series season kicks off at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday, July 20, in a 250-mile action-packed contest.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is 2.5 miles long. Located in Speedway, Indiana, it boasts a rectangular-shaped oval track. Pennzoil 250 will feature 38 drivers for 38 spots.

Like the other NASCAR Xfinity Series races, Friday’s (July 19) practice will open this racing weekend at 1:05 pm ET and qualifying sessions at 12:05 pm ET on Saturday, on USA Network and NBC Sports, which will determine the starting positions for the 100-lap main event on Saturday afternoon.

Ty Gibbs and Joe Gibbs Racing are the winners of last year’s Xfinity race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.

FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass tweeted the qualifying order for the Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The qualifying session for Pennzoil 250 will start with a part-time driver, with BJ McLeod running the first lap and Stewart-Haas Racing driver Cole Custer running the final lap.
