Trackhouse Racing's driver of the #99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series, Daniel Suarez recently reacted to part-time driver Shane van Gisbergen's recent appearance during a superspeedway race in the highest echelon of the sport.

The 2024 GEICO 500 saw both drivers compete during the 500-mile-long event at Talladega Superspeedway. While their outings last Sunday did not yield the best of results with Suarez finishing in P26 and Van Gisbergen in P28, both drivers could relate to an on-track moment off the track after the event.

Daniel Suarez was seen reacting to one of Shane van Gisbergen's clips of radio chatter between him and his team. The Kaulig Racing driver was seen talking to his team about how the imperial system of communication did not help him gauge how far drivers were around him on the track. Gisbergen received a call about the #12 Ford Mustang driven by Ryan Blaney being two feet off the rear of his car, to which he replied:

"Keep talking in car lengths and how far off I got no, no idea what a foot is."

Daniel Suarez chimed in on the post and shared his experience, writing:

"That’s me for the last 10 years"

Suarez's team Trackhouse Racing also chimed in and wrote:

"We will teach you @svg97"

Where did Daniel Suarez and teammate Ross Chastain finish during 2024 GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway?

The 10th race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season saw Trackhouse Racing drivers Daniel Saurez and Ross Chastain not have the best of days out at the 2.6-mile-long Talladega Superspeedway. The #99 and #1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 drivers were seen finishing in P27 and P13 last Sunday as the race drew to an end.

With Michael McDowell sending the field into a frenzy as multiple cars crashed on the last lap, Suarez was left confused about how he ended up in the position he finished in. He later expressed his confusion about the sport on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote:

"I don’t understand how I finished 27th… I’m confused…"

Meanwhile, NASCAR prepares to head to Dover Motor Speedway for the coming weekend as the Xfinity and Cup Series prepare to go live from 'The Monster Mile'. The Wurth 400 goes live from the venue on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm ET.
