Tyler Reddick named accomplished NASCAR racers Steve Kinser and Dale Earnhardt Jr. as his role models in a Twitter AMA video. He also mentioned seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton as another one of his role models.

While Hamilton is a very well-known figure in Formula One community, he is also prominent in NASCAR. Tyler Reddick explained why he looked up to Hamilton, saying:

"I have really grown to love F1, I really love watching that sport. So I really have latched on to what Lewis Hamilton does and what he speaks for, what he stands for, and what he does on the race track, obviously, too, is just incredibly remarkable."

Lewis Hamilton's achievements in Formula One on the racetrack are unparalleled. He is widely regarded as the best racing driver of his generation and a strong contender for the greatest driver in the sport's history. He has won seven World Championships, more than any other British racer in history. No wonder why many younger drivers look up to him.

Tyler Reddick finishes top three in NASCAR All Star Race

On a fantastic Sunday night at historic North Wilkesboro Speedway, the 23XI teammates scored their greatest All-Star Race results. Wallace, like Larson, was allowed to drive from a lower position in the grid.

Reddick said:

"It was a solid night for us, i was really concerned how we were gonna get to the front end. Everyone at 23XI did a really good job of just saying let’s just do something different, and it paid off for us. … I was behind Bubba and just trying to figure out how much he was pushing, saving (tires)."

He added:

"I definitely think the proximity, that route that I was running to him, I wasn’t really doing my tires any favors, but had an opportunity or two to get by him but made a mistake at the worst absolute time."

Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick made a solid enough showing for 23XI Racing in Sunday's NASCAR All-Star Race. They finished close together towards the head of the field. However, Wallace's second-place finish and Reddick's third-place finish behind race winner Kyle Larson's record-breaking performance.

Dave Rogers, the performance director of 23XI Racing, praised the pit plan that placed Wallace and Reddick in a position to launch a challenge. However, a race-changing caution period did not occur, and the remainder of the All-Star race was run in green.

Tyler Reddick previously won at the Circuit of The Americas in March, putting him in the provisional playoff picture for the NASCAR Cup Series. Wallace has two consecutive top-five performances in point-paying competitions. This might be a momentum-builder as the regular season nears its midway mark.
