NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Anthony Alfredo won the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus at Dover Motor Speedway but expressed disappointment after discovering that Fox Sports failed to air his post-race interview.

After securing a third-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway, the #5 Our Motorsports driver qualified for the final round of the Dash 4 Cash program at Dover, competing against Ryan Sieg, Jesse Love, and Riley Herbst.

Joe Gibbs Racing driver Ryan Truex won the race while Anthony Alfredo secured a ninth-placed result, outperforming his three competitors to claim the $100,000 bonus. The rain-delayed race, broadcast on FS1, covered the interviews of the top two finishers and immediately switched to the PBA tour.

Anthony Alfredo took to X(formerly Twitter) to express his disappointment that his interview with Regan Smith was not aired on TV. He wrote:

"Did my post-race interview with Regan not air on TV? Haven’t even seen it on social yet either."
"I’m hearing not. That’s very disappointing. This is a huge accomplishment for our team and sponsors, yet we didn’t get the exposure for it."

Alfredo hoped that the interview would be uploaded on social media platforms.

"Hopefully they have the replay and can at least post it to social media like their others," he wrote.

Anthony Alfredo has been on a remarkable streak of form lately. Driving for the minnow Our Motorsports team, he equaled his career-best Xfinity finish at Talladega with a third-place finish. He backed it up with a sixth-place finish in the Cup race, driving the #62 Beard Motorsports Chevy.

The 25-year-old has also put together a solid Xfinity campaign in the first 10 rounds, with one top-five finish, and five top-ten results. He currently occupies 10th place in the drivers' standings.

Anthony Alfredo elaborates on the significance of Dash 4 Cash bonus

The #5 Our Motorsports driver was contending against favorites like Richard Childress Racing driver Jesse Love and Stewart Haas Racing driver Riley Herbst for the Dash 4 Cash bonus at Dover Motor Speedway.

Anthony Alfredo expressed that qualifying for the bonus was a huge deal for the team and winning it was an even bigger achievement. He claimed all the odds were stacked against them, but they managed to beat their rivals.

"It's huge, our team doesn't have a lot of people, resources and we definitely had our backs against our wall with the teams we were competing against for this Dash 4 Cash. That was a big deal to even have an opportunity to do it, and to win it is even bigger," he told Rubbins' is Racing News post-race.

Alfredo later revealed that Our Motorsports was run on a shoestring budget compared to the bigger NASCAR Xfinity teams. He added that the team has 13 employees running the shop with no simulation tools.
