NASCAR Xfinity Series driver AJ Allmendinger's wife Tara recently shared a post about food in the US being banned in other countries.

Allmendinger married Tara Meador in December 2019, and the couple welcomed their son, Aero James, in September last year. Tara, who is active on social media, has previously overcome health challenges and shared the story on November 27.

"Wake up America your food is banned in 30 countries," the post reads.

Tara is Mrs. North Carolina America 2021 and has over 20 thousand followers on her Instagram.

Some popular packed products in the US are banned in other countries because of certain ingredients like artificial dyes and trans fats, which are linked to health concerns.

The FDA, which is responsible for regulating food safety in the US, has been criticized for not addressing these issues more quickly. Here is the original post:

A few days back, Tara also shared a post to support the Charlotte Douglas Airport workers' strike where the workers are protesting low wages and unfair treatment.

"This is my way of providing for the family" - AJ Allmendinger on returning to full-time NASCAR Cup Series racing

AJ Allmendinger will compete full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for Kaulig Racing next year. In a recent interview, the 42-year-old talked about his love for racing and plans to support his family.

"They keep asking me, like, 'Well, how long do you want to do this?' I'm like, 'I'll be honest, if it's going well, and you believe in me, and you think I can still do the job, and we're getting better, I'll keep doing it for as long as possible. You know, you only live once. I've been paid to drive race cars for 22 years. So part of having Aero James and my wife, Tara, is that this is my way of providing for the family," AJ Allmendinger said.

Allmendinger made it to the championship four this year after a win at Las Vegas in the Xfinity Series. He finished in 3rd place in the final standings and had seven top-10 and 18 top-five finishes in the series.

"But I truly enjoy the success of it. I think I don't get excited leading up to it because I do put so much pressure there. But when it's successful, or I feel like I'm helping us succeed, that's what I love being a part of. So that's why I wanted to go back to Cup racing" AJ Allmendinger added.
