The Yellawood 500 race at Talladega Superspeedway birthed an unwanted record in NASCAR's modern era of racing. Amid the massive pile-up and chaos, several drivers managed to pass through without a scratch. Among them was Anthony Alfredo, who shared his in-car camera footage of the biggest wreck.

e Big One' did not shy away from embracing the 2.66-mile-long asphalt track in Alabama. The pile-up on Lap 186 started when Brad Keselowski - with help from Joey Logano - miscalculated the gap in the front and sent Austin Cindric spinning inside the field, thus, starting a chain reaction. With the red flag being raised, it was recorded that a total of 28 stock cars were collected.

Furthermore, part-time Beard Motorsports driver Alfredo released onboard footage of the biggest wreck in NASCAR history and shared his POV as he escaped the chaos without a scratch.

Ahead of the Talladega race, Alfredo spoke about what it takes to race on Superspeedways and the type of racing he embraces. He said (via Speedwaydigest):

"As action-packed and as exciting as it is, you have to be very patient and methodical. And I think it takes a certain type of racer to excel at it. In driving for smaller teams the last few years in the national series, this type of racing presents a really great opportunity for me to go to victory lane because the playing field is a little bit more level. So I put a lot of time and effort into studying and preparing for these races and I've gotten quite good at it. I'm always in contention late in the running. We've had great pace and that's the first step - bringing fast cars."

Anthony Alfredo is having a decent third full-time season in the Xfinity Series. In his 28 starts, he has accumulated two top-fives and six top-10 finishes.
