Where will NASCAR drivers will start in Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway? Starting lineup explored

The starting lineup for the 57th annual Snowball Derby is set, and several NASCAR drivers are looking to lock horns against some of the best in short-track racing. The Snowball Derby, the biggest Super Late Model event of the year, will be held at Five Flag Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, and will stream on FloRacing at 1 pm ET on Sunday, December 8.

2024 NASCAR Truck Series champion Ty Majeski will start from the pole on Sunday at the half-mile track. He claimed the Snowball Derby pole after recording a lap time of 16.175 seconds in Friday’s (December 6) qualifying. Majeski is defending and a two-time winner of the prestigious Snowball Derby and will aim to claim his third win in the event.

Majeski’s fellow Truck Series driver Kaden Honeycutt will share the front row with him after turning a lap time of 16.203.

The pair will be followed by full-time Xfinity Series driver William Sawalich, Haeden Plybon, and Connor Okrzesik in the top five. Sammy Smith, Derek Thorn, Bubba Pollard, Dawson Sutton, and Chandler Smith completed the top 10.

Former full-time NASCAR driver David Gilliland, Xfinity driver Carson Kvapil, and Cup driver Noah Gragson will start 12th, 25th, and 28th, respectively.
