The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the USA Today 301, and excitement is high, as it’s an asphalt and granite oval track with a length of 1.058 miles.

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway, nicknamed “The Magic Mile,” is in Loudon, New Hampshire. The track features 2/7 degrees of variable banking in the turns and 1 degree of banking on the frontstretch and backstretch.

It hosted its first NASCAR race in 1993, where Rusty Wallace emerged victorious driving the #2 Pontiac for Penske Racing.

Since the inaugural race, some of the biggest stars and teams have had at least one victory at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. A total of 29 different NASCAR drivers have taken the checkered flag in 56 races in New Hampshire.

With four victories each, Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick are the most successful drivers at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in NASCAR history. Burton took his first checkered flag on this track in 1997, while his last win came in 2000. Harvick, who retired from NASCAR last year, won at “The Magic Mile” in 2006, 2016, 2018 and 2019.

Among active Cup drivers, two veteran Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin hold the lead with three victories at NHMS, while Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano are the next two closest drivers with two wins.

Joe Gibbs Racing's 11 Cup wins at NHMS are the most among all teams. They came in 2000, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2015–2017, 2022, 2023, 1997–1998, 2003 and 2009. Meanwhile, Hendrick Motorsports has won nine times.

Five different manufacturers have won at this track, and Chevrolet has won the most times (20). They are followed by Ford (17), Toyota (11), Dodge (three) and Pontiac (two).
