Earnhardt took his first checkered flag at the event in 1983, while his last win came in 2000.Among active Cup drivers, Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney, and Joey Logano have the most wins at the Talladega fall race with two wins each.Richard Childress Racing’s eight wins at the Talladega fall race are the most among teams. They came in 1984, 1990–1991, 1993, 1999, 2000, 2010–2011. Meanwhile, Hendrick Motorsports and Team Penske have won six times each.Eight different manufacturers have won at this event, with Chevrolet (22) winning the most times.
