Justin Allgaier claimed the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series title ahead of Cole Custer, AJ Allmendinger, and Austin Hill in the season-ending race in Phoenix. The JR Motorsports driver finished the championship race in second place behind race winner Riley Herbst.

However, it was enough for him to clinch the title, thanks to his superiority in points. While the season was a positive one for the aforementioned drivers, some drivers failed to make a mark and ended up at the bottom of the standings.

Here, we take a look at the five worst drivers in terms of points. To make the field equitable, we have decided to count drivers with a minimum of five race entries.

The American driver racked in five races this season where he picked up 47 points. He faced a DNF and failed to claim any Top Five or Top 10 finishes. His best finish was in 17th place at Talladega.

#4 Preston Pardus

Preston J. Pardus is an American professional racing driver. He competes in the Xfinity Series under a part-time obligation.

He drives the #50 Chevrolet Camaro for his own team, Pardus Racing, and the #36 Camaro for DGM Racing. In 2024, he registered five races, where he picked up 47 points, and his best was a 21st place finish at Charlotte Roval.

#3 Greg Van Alst

Gregory Michael Van Alst competes in the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series under a part-time obligation.

In 2024, he raced five times where he picked up 33 points. The American had two DNFs but failed to grab any Top Five or Top 10 finishes. His best result this season came at Martinsville with a 26th-place finish.

#2 Chad Finchum

James Chadwick Finchum is a part-time NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series driver who competed in the 2024 season.

The American drives the #66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for MBM Motorsport in the Cup Series, and #66 Ford Mustang for MBM Motorsport, and the #35 Chevrolet Camaro for Joey Gase Motorsport. He racked in five races this season, where he picked up 27 points. Finchum managed a 26th-place finish, his best result in 2024.

#1 Thomas Annunziata

Thomas C Annunziata, a professional racing driver, who competes in the Xfinity Series, driving the #4 and #6 Chevrolet Camaro for JD Motorsport.

In 2024, he registered five entries in the series and picked up 24 points. Out of five races, the 19-year-old took part in, he faced DNFs in three races. Annunziata's best finish has come at Pocono (28th place).
