The 2025 season of the NASCAR Xfinity Series is definitely looking promising in terms of offering a good competition. There have been some big changes in teams including teams like Kaulig Racing and Big Machine Racing.
As the reports suggest, for this season, Kaulig Racing has chosen to work with new talent while BMR's focus is towards improving their operations. On that note, let's take a look at the top three drivers to watch for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series.
#3. Nick Sanchez
Nick Sanchez, 2022 ARCA Menards Series Champion has proven consistent talent in NASCAR having already raced through different NASCAR levels. In 2023 he joined the Rev Racing Truck Series program, where he won the Rookie of the Year.
The youngster's 2024 season in the Truck Series, winning two races en route to a fifth place finish. Sanchez has joined Big Machine Racing for the 2025 season and he will drive the No. 48 Chevrolet on his Xfinity Series debut. Given his performances in 2024, it will not be much of a surprise if the 23-year-old does well in the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series.
#2. Christian Eckes
Among the rookie drivers of 2025, Christian is definitely quite accomplished in his racing career before joining the Xfinity. He has experience previously racing for the ARCA and Truck series. Coming to the NASCAR Xfinity, he has joined Kaulig racing for the 2025 season where he will drive the no. 16 Chevrolet.
Eckes is the 2019 ARCA Menards Series Champion and also has nine race wins in the Truck Series. He also won the regular championship in 2024.
2024 was an impressive year for the 24-year-old, as he finished the Truck Series in third position, winning four races. Moving to Kaulig Racing helps Eckes' situation as the team is known for its competitive Xfinity program, with AJ Allmendinger finishing second in the 2024 championship while Shane van Gijsbergen reached the playoffs.
#1. Jesse Love
At just 20 years of age Jesse Love has already had an impressive racing career, making him the top driver to keep an eye on in 2025. Not only is he the youngest ARCA West Series Champion, but also the 2023 ARCA Menards Series Champion.
Love produced some impressive performances during the 2024 Xfinity Series, notably winning the Ag-Pro 300 in Talladega, and this, combined with other impressive performances from him, won him the Rookie of the Year award.
For the 2025 season, he will drive the No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, and looking at his record and performance in 2024, there is surely more to come from him this season.
