NASCAR Cup Series superstar Kyle Larson took part in the High Limit Racing Series’ Eagle Nationals as a part of the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series at Eagle Raceway on Tuesday, June 10.
Driving the #57 sprint car for Silva Motorsports, 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson started from the 22nd position and finished 26th after being involved in a multi-car wreck on Lap 28 of 40. The other drivers who were involved in the wreck were Carson Macedo, Chase Randall, and Danny Sams III.
Meanwhile, Michael Kofoid secured the win at Eagle Raceway on Tuesday night. He dominated the race from the pole, leading all 40 laps, and held off the challenge of Anthony Macri in the closing laps to cross the finish line in P1. Kofoid crossed the finish line by a margin of 1.135 seconds ahead of Macri. With the win, he took home prize money of $55,555.
Meanwhile, Anthony Macri finished runner-up, followed by Aaron Reutzel, Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law Brad Sweet, and Tyler Courtney in the top five. Tanner Thorson, Kerry Madsen, Giovanni Scelzi, Brenham Crouch, and Spencer Bayston completed the top 10.
