It’s 2018 Macau Millions at the PokerStars LIVE MACAU ROOM and the Indian squad is already making history. Aditya Sushant (248,000), Sumit Sapra (225,000) and MadOverPoker Team Pro Zarvan Tumboli (60,500) are giving the Indian poker community many reasons to feel proud.

The HK$3 Million Guarantee

The HK$3 Million guarantee was already crushed on the second entry flight itself. The standard field registered 559 entries on Day 1B, while the turbo heat locked at 232 entries. The field size reached close to 1257 entries, excluding Day 1C.

In 2016, Macau Millions' main event had 2,343 entrants and awarded a total of HK$6.14 million in cash prizes, which represents Macau's record for the largest field.

On The Other Side

In one of the side events, Jizhong Wang cashed HK$281,500 in the $15,000 NLH Event, and China's Feng Liu won the HK$5,000 Knockout for HK$89,500.

The Event

The second day of the starting flight of the HK$3M GTD Main Event began with a total of 791 entries (559 entries in standard heat + 232 entries in turbo heat). China's Yazhou Chen climbed to the first position with 566,000 in chips, bagging the only stack above the 500K-mark. Taiwan's Bruno Lo (437,000) and China's Yangfan Chen (405,500) were the next biggest stacks.

The list of 40 players who made it through to Day 2 from Day 1B [Standard] did not include a notable name Celina Lin, Team PokerStars Pro, who was the only player representing the Canadian biggie.

The Indian bandwagon that included a total of 13 players, namely - WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant, PSPC Platinum Pass winner Sumit Sapra, MadOverPoker Team pro Zarvan Tumboli, Young Guns Sahil Chutani and Abhinav Iyer, Saurabh Arora, Mani Singh, Randeep Lather, Imran Mohd, Gokul Krishna, Deepak Raina, Saravanan S and Ankit Wadhawan were seen in action on Day 1B.

However, only Sushant (248,000), Sapra (225,000), and Tumboli (60,500) made it through with Sushant`s name featuring among the top 10 stacks of the day.
