US President Donald Trump recently shared his views about him going to “heaven.” According to People, on Sunday, October 12, 2925, he spoke to the press aboard Air Force One.

When a reporter questioned the 79-year-old politician about his August statements regarding his wish to go to “heaven,” Donald said:

"I'm being a little cute. I don't think there's anything going to get me in heaven. I really don't. I think I'm not maybe heaven-bound,”

President Trump continued:

“I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make heaven, but I've made life a lot better for a lot of people."

On October 12, 2025, X-user @MarioNawfal shared an audio clip of the same conversation that Donald reportedly had with the reporters. Meanwhile, after the US President told reporters on Sunday about his previous comments, netizens were quick to comment.

An X user called out the US President wrote:

“At least he knows. Unfortunately the rest of us found out who he is after the election.”

Notably, Donald Trump, according to People, also talked to the press about the US election of the year 2020. He claimed that had it not “been rigged," he allegedly could have prevented Russia’s war with Ukraine.

“We had an incompetent administration. We had an incompetent president. And because of a crooked election, millions of people are dead,” the politician complained.

Did Donald Trump ask for donations in a bid to achieve his goal to "get into heaven"?

According to People, Trump referenced his goal of getting into "heaven" last month via a campaign message. E-mails were reportedly sent out to supporters asking for donations. The news outlet cited the Independent’s report, which claimed the US President's campaign said:

“I want to try and get to Heaven.”

Notably, the emails reportedly began going out on August 23, 2025, and requested supporters to donate $15 during a “24-HOUR TRUMP FUNDRAISING BLITZ” to the US President. While the subject line of the fundraiser Email read, “I want to try and get to Heaven,” Trump claimed in the same:

“Last year, I came millimeters from death when that bullet pierced through my skin. My triumphant return to the White House was never supposed to happen!... But I believe that God saved me for one reason: TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Meanwhile, the 47th president of the United States, during a phone interview with Fox & Friends on August 19, also expressed his participation as an alleged mediator between Putin and the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

He claimed that if he could save “7,000 people a week” from being killed, he would want to try to “get to heaven if possible.” He also complained during the interview about the alleged rumors of him "not doing well" at that time.

For the unversed, the 79-year-old politician was reportedly the oldest person to assume the US presidency when he retook the White House in January 2025. He is also the second-oldest person to ever serve as the President of the US.
