Juice Wrld passed away at the mere age of 21 on December 8, 2019 after having a seizure induced due to drug overdose. It was alleged that the American rapper had swallowed multiple Percocet pills in order to hide the federal agents.

Jarad Anthony Higgins, famously known by his stage name Juice Wrld, was an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Higgins claimed that his stage name represented "taking over the world" and that it was derived from the 1992 released film 'Juice'.

Juice began his career as an independent artist in 2015. He rose to fame after his 2018 single "Lucid Dreams" was an absolute chartbuster which made it to number two in the US Billboard Hot 100. Lucid Dreams was a part of his triple platinum debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance. Apart from this, his other singles "All Girls Are the Same", "Lean wit Me", "Wasted", and "Armed and Dangerous" also were chartbusters.

His 2019 hit single "Robbery" helped Juice bagging the number one debut position on the US Billboard 200. Speaking about this musical style, Juice claimed that his inspirations were genre-wide from emo, hip hop music, elements of rock, punk and R&B. He was administered two doses of the emergency medication Narcan after the authorities suspected him of drug overdose.

Juice was on a flight from Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles to Midway International Airport in Chicago, and it was claimed that the Law enforcement officers were awaiting the flight's landing after they suspected the plane was carrying ammunition and drugs. As the plane landed in Chicago, his associates who were onboard with him on the plane told the local officials that the rapper had consumed "several unknown pills''.

The team members also alleged that amongst those unknown pills were multiple Percocet pills which Juice had swallowed in order to hide them from the officials while they were inspecting the luggages for drugs. A while later as per the officials, Juice then began convulsing and seizing due to which they had to rush him to nearby medical center in Oak Lawn, Illinois, where he was pronounced dead.

A month after the rapper's death, on January 22, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Juice Wrld's death to be a cause of accidental overdose of oxycodone and codeine. This was because of him swallowing several Percocet and other unknown pills.

Juice Wrld suffered seizures and convulsions at the Chicago Midway International Airport while the officials were inspecting the flight he was in and all the luggages of every member that was onboard, which included the rapper. He was later rushed to the nearest medical center after the federal agents administered the opioid antidote Narcan and the paramedics spent 40 minutes attempting to stabilize the singer's heartbeat.
