Fast and Furious star Paul Walker passed away at the age of 40 on November 30, 2013, after sustaining injuries caused by a single-vehicle collision due to speeding.

Paul Walker was born on September 12, 1973, in Glendale, California. In his childhood days, he and his family was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Walker completed his graduation from Village Christian School and he majored in Marine Biology after attending various community colleges in Southern California.

His modeling career began as a toddler when he modeled for Pamper's television commercial at the age of two. Walker's friend Rodas was driving his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT and was traveling between 80 mph (130 km/h) and 93 mph (150 km/h) in a 45 mph (72 km/h) speed zone on Hercules Street in Valencia, California.

Due to the speeding, the car crashed into a concrete lamppost and two trees and it caught fire. While Rodas died after sustaining multiple injuries, Paul Walker died due to sustaining injuries as well as burns. Walker and Rodas' bodies were burned beyond recognition. Walker was 40 years old while his friend Rodas was 38 years old at the time of their death.

As per the officials, neither of them had any alcohol or drug traces at the time of their death. The police also ruled out mechanical issues, drag racing, or bad road conditions as the reason for their accident.

The police stated that the speeding and the aged tires of the Porche Rodas driving was the reason for their horrific accident.
