After Caitlyn Jenner recently hinted at participating in the race to be the governor, she took to X on November 25, where she claimed that she would beat Kamala Harris in the race. The series of tweets started with Jenner mentioning a 2021 post that read that she was running for the position in California.
In the recent tweet dated November 25, Caitlyn Jenner wrote:
"Should we do it again? Have been getting a lot of calls with a lot of strong opinions. Newscum is out in 2026."
To this, another user (@anthony09087) asked:
"If Harris runs, do you think you could clean her clock? 🤣"
This prompted the Republican supporter to respond by saying:
"If I ran, and it was ultimately against Harris, I would destroy her."
In a follow-up tweet, Caitlyn wrote that she grew up in a much poorer family and further raised some "multi billionaire" children. She also highlighted being a successful entrepreneur and added that "it would be a blast" to compete against Kamala Harris.
Meanwhile, the tweets didn't go unnoticed, and netizens flooded the platform with their responses. A user (@galexy70) wrote:
"This isn't a decathlon in 76."
Another user tweeted:
"😂😂😂 yea ok. You'd have like a .05% shot at the Republican nomination..."
"Caitlyn ain’t worthy enough to bring MVP Harris’s coffee. She’s too full of hatred and self hatred. She needs help. Not politics," added a tweet.
"What qualifications do you have to be governor?" asked one user.
While many mocked Caitlyn for the tweets, a lot of netizens showed support to her. A user wrote on X:
"Yes you would and that would be terrific! Please do!"
"I hope you run. California is a mess," commented a user.
"Not even a contest. Only way you lose is if they cheat counting the votes," declared another netizen.
Caitlyn Jenner has been a Republican for quite some time now and she was also seen at the Mar-a-Lago party after Trump's win
After Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, which was held earlier this month, a party was thrown at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. Several well-known personalities, including Caitlyn Jenner, have been seen at the occasion.
There had been several instances previously when Caitlyn was seen favoring Donald Trump as well as the Republicans. Back in July 2016, in an interview with Stat, she stated that according to her, Trump seemed "very much for women." She then also said:
"I'm on the conservative Republican side. I'm not excited with what Obama has done to the economy, to our Constitution, all that kind of stuff. But as far as the transgender community, they've actually been very good."
Caitlyn Jenner then continued:
"Trump seems to be very much for women. He seems very much behind the LGBT community."
In March 2016, she passed some remarks on her show, I Am Cait, where she claimed that Trump was a better presidential candidate for women as compared to Hillary Clinton.
As for the current tweets, where Caitlyn Jenner claimed that she could easily beat Kamala Harris in the gubernatorial elections of California, the situation was different in 2021. She then ran against Gavin Newsom but received only one percent of the vote. While she hinted at running for the race, no confirmation has been made as of now.
