Huge amounts of funds were donated to former President and current Presidential nominee Donald Trump. Lutnick reportedly targeted at raising about $10 million for Trump in the latest fundraiser. The event co-hosts included Omeed Malik and John Paulson.

As mentioned, he soon joined Cantor Fitzgerald after his graduation. In 2004, Lutnick and Lee M. Trump's arrival at The Hamptons to attend the fundraiser had caused several disruptions in the roadways and residents had been complaining. The same situation happened when Joe Biden arrived there for a fundraiser in June. Page Six reported that areas like Westhampton Beach, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Shinnecock Hills, North Sea, Water Mill, and Bridgehampton could be affected due to the fundraiser.
Southampton Town Police Lt. Todd Spencer told The East Hampton Star, that the roadways would be shut down from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday. It had further been reported that Donald Trump landed at the Gabreski Airport in Westhampton. TMZ reported that one had to pay about $25,000 to attend the event and around $50,000 to click a photo with Donald Trump.
Bloomberg also revealed that the former President was also charging people for having a seat at his table, and the amount was a hefty $250,000. The outlet further added that if someone wanted to get the status of a "host" they had to pay at least $500,000.
While Donald Trump is busy getting funding for his campaign, Kamala Harris has also not stayed behind. Harris had reportedly raised more than $300 million in July, which included $200 million which was received within a week of Joe Biden's decision to step down from the elections.
Some of the important people who arrived at Biden's fundraiser event in The Hamptons in June included Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, and Tracy Pollan.
Trump's campaign had revealed that he had reportedly raised about $139 million in July. As of Thursday, they announced of having around $327 million in cash in hand.
