Antonio Brown mocked Kim Kardashian's law school journey and the internet had a lot to say about it. The former NFL star took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday, November 25, and posted a still from Adam Sandler's iconic 1995 movie Billy Madison. The image showed a 27-year-old Billy Madison sitting in class alongside a bunch of children. Brown captioned his tweet:
"Kim Kardashian begins year 7 in law school"
Kardashian marked Year 7 of law school with a selfie on Thursday, November 21. In the post simply captioned "Law school", Kardashian sported a black SKIMS tank top with a plunging neckline and a pair of reading glasses. Kardashian seemingly appeared to be not wearing makeup in the picture which also saw an open book on her desk.
Social media users were not too fond of Antonio Brown's shade on Kim Kardashian and joked about the latter helping the former with a potential CTE lawsuit. One Instagram user joked:
"Hush… she gone help you with that CTE lawsuit you need😂"
Similar reactions followed as social media users criticized Brown by asking him what he was doing with his life instead. Here are a few Instagram reactions to Brown's tweet:
More netizens commended Kim Kardashian for trying to get through law school and told her to "keep pushing".
Kim Kardashian's legal journey began in 2018
Kim Kardashian's journey in the field of law began back in 2018 when she enrolled in a four-year apprenticeship program at a San Francisco law firm. The star, who expressed interest in following in her late father Robert Kardashian's footsteps, passed the baby bar in 2021.
After she passed the test taken by first-year law students, the star shared a few pictures on Instagram in celebration. She wrote in a December 2021 Instagram post that this wasn't "easy or handed" to her. She revealed:
"In California, the way I'm studying law you need to take 2 bar exams. This was just the first one but with the harder pass rate. I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route, but it was my only option, and it feels so, so, sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals,"
The Reality TV star further noted that she knew her late father would be "so proud" of her and even "shocked" to learn about the path she chose for herself. Kim concluded her heartfelt post by telling fans not to give up, even when they were "holding on by a thread".
Later in May 2023, Kardashian revealed in an interview with Today, that she received straight 'A's on her law school mid-terms. She revealed at the time that she was studying "constitutional law 1 and 2", which were her "toughest" challenge yet. More recently in June 2024, Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram, letting fans know what her "least favorite" subject was. She wrote alongside a picture of a bunch of notes:
"I can't deal with all these f**king hearsay exceptions!"
Despite not yet being a registered lawyer, Kardashian has made significant strides in the field. Back in 2018, the Reality TV star successfully commuted the life imprisonment sentence of Alice Marie Johnson after pleading the case directly to the White House.
