Michele Little made s*xual remarks to the student

The press release by Sarasota Police Department stated that on April 25, 2023, patrol officers visited the school and talked to Michele Little. She was given administrative leave by the school.

According to the press release, on April 27, 2023, the 17-year-old male student was interviewed at the Child Protection Center. He told them that Michele made s*xual remarks to him multiple times, flirted with him, and even "made out" with him on one occasion.

The student told authorities that on April 17, 2023, he went to Michele's classroom during lunch and she asked him some questions that were s*xual in nature. According to Law & Crime, when the student couldn't answer the questions, the teacher told him that she could "show him a few things."

When the student asked Michele what she was doing after school that day, she told him that she would be cleaning her room. The student said that he jokingly offered to help her and Michele accepted.

When the student went back to Michele's classroom after school, he found that she had propped the door open with a pencil so it wouldn't lock and he could enter. She also put up a sign that said "Testing/Tutoring" on the door, so that no one would enter the classroom. Then, Michele shut the blinds while the student began working on the computer so they had an excuse in case someone came in.

Following this, the student claimed that they shared an intimate moment. According to the press release given by the police department, the student said that he and Little "made out for around 10-15 minutes" before he left.

Law & Crime reported that authorities reviewed the school surveillance video from April 17, 2023. They found that as mentioned by the student, Michele Little pulled window shades from her desk drawer and closed the blinds so no one could see them. Police also informed that in the surveillance footage, the student was spotted entering the room at 2:02 pm and leaving at 2:21 pm that day.

Sarasota Military Academy High School campus released a statement to the faculty, parents, and students mentioning the investigation and arrest of Michele Little. The statement read:

"We have come to learn that an arrest was made by the Sarasota Police Department, and any updates regarding this case will be released by the SPD."
