The highly anticipated 'Rajasthan Rumble' took place at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur, as Vijender Singh notched up his tenth consecutive victory as a pro-boxer. Singh defeated Ghanaian Ernest Amuzu in 10 rounds, in what was a fairly one-sided bout.

As The 32-year-old landed punch after punch, he was successful in defending his WBO Asia Pacific title and the WBO Oriental Middleweight title. With this win, Vijender has extended his record in pro-boxing to 10-0, which is the highest number of wins by any Indian boxer in pro-boxing.

This loss against Singh was Amuzu's 3rd career loss. The Ghanaian has fought 26 bouts so far, and is yet to be knocked out.

Previously, Vijender Singh had tied fellow boxer Neeraj Goyat in two records as he beat Zulpiker Maimaitali back in August in Mumbai. Now, however, the 32-year-old has eclipsed Goyat to become the best pro-boxer that the country has produced till date. Here, let us take a look at some of his records.

Most consecutive Wins for an Indian Pro Boxer:

His win against Maimaitali was his 9th consecutive victory as a pro boxer. Both Singh and Goyat had 9 consecutive pro boxing wins, which were the most for an Indian pro boxer. Now, the win against Amuzu puts Vijender at 10 consecutive victories, which makes him the numero uno on the list of Indian pro-boxers with the most number of consecutive wins.

Most pro-boxing wins for an active Indian Boxer:

Vijender was tied with Goyat in this category as well, with both the boxers being on nine wins apiece. However, after today's win, Vijender now has 10 victories under his belt(s), which again puts him ahead of Goyat in the list of most wins for an active Indian pro-boxer.

First Indian to defend two titles at once:

Vijender Singh, after the victory against Amuzu, became the first Indian in Pro Boxing history to defend two titles in a single bout. With this win, Singh defended the WBO Asia Pacific title and the WBO Oriental Middleweight title.

Vijender's win makes him the most successful Indian pro-boxer. With such a tag comes hopes of greater fights in the future. He had hinted earlier that he wouldn't mind facing Amir Khan in the future, and a possible world fight could be on the cards in 2018.
