Nina Castagna is a professional American rower, competing collegiately at the University of Washington. Castagna has been qualified to represent the United States in the women's eight event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Notably, she won a silver medal with her team in this category at the 2023 World Rowing Championships. Furthermore, she has been selected to cox the United States women's eight for the upcoming Olympic Games, which will be held in France.

Since joining the University of Washington in 2018, Castagna has actively participated on its women’s rowing team. Her achievements include being named to the CRCA All-America first team in 2023 and earning accolades on both the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll and as a first-team All-Pac-12 member that same year. In 2022, she was honoured as part of the All-Pac-12 Team and also secured a spot on that year's Spring Academic Honor Roll. Earlier, in 2021, Castagna received recognition as second-team Pocock All-America by CRCA and was again named to an All-Pac-12 team roster.
