The opening day of the All India and South Asia Rugby- Division 1 tournament being played at the Bombay Gymkhana grounds in Mumbai saw plenty of action as most teams registered swiping victories in the first games of the competition.

The first match saw the Army Red face the Bhubaneswar RFC and in a complete demolition, the former beat the latter by a massive margin of 72-0 and seal a spot for a match match against the Winner of Match 5 on Thursday. Bhubaneshwar RFC, though, have yet another chance to get off the mark when they face off against the Jungle Crows later today.
