Bengaluru, 8th April, 2015: Counting down to the 8th edition of the TCS World 10k, Procam International and Cigna TTK are all set to test Bengaluru's fitness levels with the 5-minute Cigna TTK Treadmillion Challenge - in association with TCS, Jabong & Volini. Inspired by the success of the event in Mumbai, the Bengaluru edition of the challenge begins on Thursday, April 9, creating the perfect platform for the city's fitness fanatics to put their health to test.
The Treadmillion Challenge 2015, conceptualized by Procam International, allows participants who may or may not be running the TCS World 10k to challenge others to their best 5-minute run on a treadmill, which is a combination of distance covered and calories burnt. Spreading over more than 30 days until Saturday, May 9, the Challenge will travel to multiple locations that include 5 corporate houses, 5 Resident Welfare Associations (RWA), 5 jogger's parks and 3 malls across the city (Listed Below).
The Challenge encourages people across all age-groups keen on being fit to participate in the event and win a host of exciting prizes, seamlessly blending their motivation to keep fit with their competitive spirit. The winner, who burns most calories and covers the maximum distance at each touch point moves forward to battle it out for ultimate glory at the TCS World 10K ' Mirchi Get Active Expo' on May 9 at the Kanteerava Stadium for the Grand Finale. The overall winners will take home attractive prizes worth INR 5,00,000.
