Dates announced for Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon

Procam International today announced the launch of the 13th edition of Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2016 (SCMM), which will be held on Sunday, 17th January, 2016.

Registrations:

Marathon Categories

Registration for the marathon will be open from today onwards. The physical modes of registration at Standard Chartered Bank branches will close on Saturday, 19th September, 2015 or when filled to capacity, whichever is earlier.

Registrations for the most awaited category, the Half Marathon, will open from 10.00 am on Thursday, 30th July 2015 and close on Saturday, 28th August 2015 or when filled to capacity, whichever is earlier.

Registrations for the popular Dream Run will open from 10.00 am on Tuesday, 18th August 2015, and close on Friday, 21st August 2015, while registrations for the Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions with Disability will open on Monday, 24th August 2015, and close on Saturday, 19th September 2015, or when filled to capacity, whichever is earlier.

How do I register?

Registrations can be done online at http://scmm.procamrunning.in/ P.O. box entries are also permitted. Entries for the Full Marathon will remain open until Saturday, 28th November, 2015 or when filled to capacity, whichever is earlier.

There are 4,500 running places on offer for the Full Marathon, while 15,000 places will be available for the Half Marathon. The Dream Run, including the DHL Corporate Champions, will accommodate 20,200 participants. 1500 entries will be permitted in the Senior Citizens’ Run, 300 entries for the Champions with Disability Event, putting the total number of entries accepted at 41,500.

Applicants who do not fall within the timed runner criteria, can avail the running places allotted to the NGOs registered with United Way of Mumbai, the event’s official philanthropy partner. These running places will be available through different NGOs at a premium from 11th August, 2015.
