Mount Abu International Trail Marathon is created to provide all the running enthusiasts a platform to come together for a mountain run. With a goal of improving people's awareness towards health and fitness, LS Sports is organizing a trail mountain running event in "MOUNT ABU".
The 5th Edition of Mount Abu International Trail Marathon will be held on 20th March 2016. The event which started with 60 participants in 2011, today has more than 3000 participants in 3 categories. Lihas Trivedi, founder of LS Sports said the international trail half marathon had runners from eight different countries last time making it a unique event in India. This time, also runners across the country as well as abroad will participate in the race.
The race has been categorized into 3 segments:
1. Trail Half Marathon (Timed Event)
2. 10 KM Run (Timed Event)
3. 3 KM Peace Run
The race starts and ends at Pandav Bhavan, the Bhramha Kumaris World Headquarters. Through the journey runners go past the famous Nakki Lake, Tiger Path, which is a 8 to 9 kilometer stretch of jungle area, Arna Village, Addhar Devi, and back to Pandav Bhavan.
